Start Blogging – A Proven Way to Grow and Build Your MLM Business Online


starting your own network marketing blogAre you ready to kick your online MLM business up a notch? Starting and maintaining a blog is a proven way to get more exposure for you and your business. Starting a blog is easy – here are some tips for getting started. 

Starting Your MLM Blog
You can start your blog for free by going to http://www.blogger.com – this service is provided by Google and is very easy to set up. Later, you can consider setting up your own site and using WordPress to manage your blog. In the beginning, though, Blogger is a great way to get started.
What You Will Write About
The focus of your blog should be YOU. What you want to do is establish yourself as a unique person, a knowledgable leader that others will want to contact when they are ready to start their own MLM business (or move into a different business).
You can write about many things. You will want to tell people about yourself, what you do, why you chose to get involved with MLM and network marketing, what your goals and dreams are, and other topics of interest. If you are brand new to MLM, you could even do a daily post about your “journey to success” as you go along. Tell about your successes and challenges, and how you overcame them. People are hungry for tips and encouragement like this.
Later on, after you have your first blog established, you can start a second blog that will be all about your opportunity. Remember, this first blog is focused on establishing you as a leader. You can mention your company and opportunity, but the focus is still on you. You want to establish credibility first. This is what separates you from just another business opportunity peddler.
How Often You Should Post
I recommend that you post something every day, if at all possible. All your posts don’t have to be major productions. Some days, you can write a blurb in 10 minutes that will do the job. Other days, you can write more extensive and helpful posts on specific topics. The choice is yours. At minimum, post at least 4-5 days a week.
Ask Yourself – Why Will People Read Your MLM Blog?
While building your blog, keep these points in mind. Think about why people would want to read your blog.
  • you come across as a real person who has “been there done that” and can help
  • you are perceived as a leader who is going places – people notice this
  • you offer value in the form of helpful tips and knowledge about success in MLM
  • you show others that you can help them be successful
Your Next Steps
As you develop your blog, you should use pictures and graphics as much as possible. These help your posts stand out and give your blog a more professional appearance.
